This A4 print of my gouache painting of Buachaille Etive Mor captures a rather foreboding day in Glen Coe but however moody the weather may seem, the warm colour palette I used in this piece provides a sense of comfort and calm throughout. My inspiration for this piece, like with all my paintings, came from my love of my stunning home country. Naturally, I want to celebrate Scotland's beauty in the most affectionate way possible, and for me, that means painting.
This painting print would be a perfect gift for someone from the Highlands, a Scot, a climber or mountaineer or someone who is as inspired by Scottish landscapes as I am.
